COAR#9- Diversification of the Marathon Plan

SHOWNOTES
Hey yall! This is the 9th edition of the Confessions of a Runner podcast.

I see diversification as an entity that is just as important to implement into running as it is important to implement in a stock portfolio. We must diversify our running plans in order to produce better results and feel comfortable about what we’re doing.

According to Warren Buffett, you should not invest in anything that you don’t understand. The same goes for running. Don’t do anything as a part of your training plan if you don’t understand it first.

COAR#8- Quality vs. Quantity

Hey yall! This is the 8th edition of the Confessions of a Runner podcast.

I think that instead of focusing on logging that magic number of miles each day to increase your annual mileage, one can improve in running by just focusing on the quality of your workouts.

I don’t keep track of the number of runs I do nor do I worry about the number of miles I run each week. What I focus on each week is the following: Did I do an endurance run? Did I do a speed run? Did I do an easy run? And did I do a moderate run? Road races are the important days for me in meeting my running goals.

COAR#6- Laissez Bon Temps Roule! (Let the good times roll) Prioritizing the important things

Hey yall! This is the 6th edition of the Confessions of a Runner podcast.

In this podcast I talk about prioritizing your running as a busy person. I will tell you a little history and Mardi Gras trivia, so can learn while you run! Follow me in my quest to find the time to run, in an often busy world, and in a fully scheduled weekend.

Check out Martin’s podcast, Running Ramblings. You can find it on itunes.

Bishb doesn’t need the Bunch ‘O Mardi Gras Stuff, so if you need it, let me know. The first person to e-mail me that says they want it, gets it!

Thanks for all yall’s comments!
